KPV (Lysine-Proline-Valine) is a tripeptide fragment of alpha-melanocyte stimulating hormone (α-MSH). It binds directly to melanocortin receptors—primarily MC1R and MC3R—expressed on immune cells and intestinal epithelium, where it suppresses NF-κB signaling and downregulates pro-inflammatory cytokines including TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-1β.
Due to its small molecular size, KPV penetrates cellular membranes with exceptional efficiency and reaches target tissues at concentrations that larger peptides cannot. Research has focused on its application in inflammatory bowel disease, colitis, wound healing, and skin inflammation, with results consistently showing potent anti-inflammatory activity and accelerated tissue recovery.
Each vial contains 10mg of lyophilized KPV peptide. For research use only.
